This book was short and sweet and I truly loved every page. IMHO, it should be required reading for every American patriot and anyone else who loves their country, wherever that place may be. It has a wonderful historical approach the modern political concerns we are facing but it doesn’t just complain about the flaws in our system; it offers solutions. Each chapter is a lesson that can be learned and practiced by every member in society and I truly believe that if they were, our country would be a much better place.
Regardless of your political affiliation, it’s a very good read if you’re looking for some steps to become more civically active in your community. Snyder is not unbiased but, so long as you are wanting to learn how to recognize tyrannical behavior from political leaders, his points will make it just a little bit easier to understand what motives politicians may have behind their actions.
